Wie sich eine demografisch bedingte Schrumpfung des Arbeitsmarkts noch abwenden lässt

Angesichts knapper Arbeitskräfte fällt es Betrieben immer schwerer, offene Stellen zu besetzen. Es gibt jedoch eine Reihe von Ansätzen, um das gesamtwirtschaftliche Arbeitsvolumen trotz einer stark alternden Bevölkerung zu stabilisieren.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
