Weiterbildung hilft Älteren, digitale Kompetenzen aufzuholen

Ältere Arbeitnehmer können durch geeignete Weiterbildung bei digitalen Kompetenzen aufholen. Dies zeigt eine neue Studie des Forschungsnetzwerks EconPol, die diese Fähigkeiten unter verschiedenen Altersgruppen in Industriestaaten untersucht.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
