Bundesagentur für Arbeit zweifelt an pünktlicher Einführung des Bürgergelds

Die Nürnberger Behörde hält den Vorlauf für die geplante große Sozialreform für zu kurz. Arbeitgeber und Kommunen sehen mit dem Bürgergeld grundlegende Sozialstaatsprinzipien in Gefahr.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
