12,9 Millionen Erwerbspersonen erreichen in den nächsten 15 Jahren das gesetzliche Rentenalter

Betrachtet man die Bevölkerung zwischen 15 und 79 Jahren in 5-Jahres-Altersgruppen, so zeigt sich, dass die älteren Altersgruppen durchgehend mehr Erwerbspersonen umfassen als die jüngeren.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
