Bürgergeld: Ab wann gibt es das? Und wie hoch ist es?

Die Ampel-Koalition will Hartz-IV durch das sogenannte Bürgergeld ersetzen. Vieles ist dabei allerdings noch unklar. Einen Gesetzesentwurf soll es im Sommer geben – es winkt für Berechtigte vermutlich mehr Geld.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
