Ampel stoppt Strafen für lustlose Stütze-Empfänger

Vor allem SPD und Grüne hatten auf den Strafen-Stopp gedrängt, u.a. weil sie weniger Psychodruck für Arbeitslose wollen. „Wir wollen Hartz IV überwinden“, begründete Arbeitsminister Hubertus Heil (SPD) den Beschluss am Donnerstag.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
