Großstadtvergleich der SGB-II-Quoten 2006 bis 2021

Auf Rang 1 und 2 von 2006 bis 2021 immer München und Stuttgart. Im Beobachtungszeitraum am weitesten aufgestiegen: Leipzig und Dresden. Im Beobachtungszeitraum am weitesten abgestiegen: Essen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
