SPD-Linke drängt auf höhere Sozialleistungen

Mit der Abkehr von Hartz IV erfüllt der Koalitionsvertrag einen Traum vieler in der SPD. Doch in Zeiten militärischer Aufrüstung könnte das Geld knapp werden. Linke Sozialdemokraten fordern dennoch deutlich höhere Leistungen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
