„Verfehltes Verständnis sozialer Marktwirtschaft” – Streit über Mindestlohn spitzt sich zu

Die Arbeitgeber gehen in einer Stellungnahme mit der geplanten Mindestlohnerhöhung hart ins Gericht. Die Gewerkschaften halten den Schritt dagegen für erforderlich.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
