Arbeitslose und Langzeitarbeitslose in 2019, 2020 und 2021: Bund und Großstädte

In den 15 Großstädten lebten im Dezember 2021 insgesamt 27,5 Prozent der 977.290 registrierten Langzeitarbeitslosen. Das sind in den Großstädten 57,9 Prozent mehr Langzeitarbeitslose als im Dezember 2019.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
