Kleine Jobs, große Probleme

Mini- und Midi-Jobs sind kein Sprungbrett ins Berufsleben, sondern oft eine Falle – vor allem für Frauen. Es gibt also keinen Grund, sie dauerhaft staatlich zu bezuschussen. Ein Kommentar von Henrike Roßbach.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
