Wie stark nutzen Betriebe Kurzarbeit für Weiterbildungen?

Nutzen Betriebe die Kurzarbeitsphase für die Weiterbildung ihrer Beschäftigten? Bei der Online-Veranstaltung „Wissenschaft trifft Praxis“ stellte ein Forschungsteam des IAB Befunde zu den Weiterbildungsaktivitäten während der Corona-Krise vor.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
