Heil beziffert Ausgaben für Kurzarbeitergeld in Pandemie

Der Bundesarbeitsminister beziffert die Ausgaben für das Kurzarbeitergeld während der Corona-Krise seit Anfang vergangenen Jahres mit 38 Milliarden Euro. Rücklagen aus guten Arbeitsmarktzeiten seien voll eingesetzt worden.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
