Was steht in den Wahlprogrammen, und sehen die Bundestagskandidaten das auch so? Viele Radio-Bremen-Meinungsmelder wollen Hartz IV abschaffen und den Mindestlohn erhöhen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
