Kurzarbeit und Qualifizierung – verpasste Gelegenheiten

Eigentlich wären Phasen der Kurzarbeit ideal, um Mitarbeiter beruflich weiterzubilden und die ausgefallene Arbeitszeit sinnvoll zu nutzen. Leider aber wird das in der Praxis zu wenig gemacht.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
