Arbeitslose und Langzeitarbeitslose im Juni 2019, 2020 und 2021: Bund und Großstädte

Im Juni 2021 lebten 27,05 Prozent der registrierten Langzeitarbeitslosen in den 15 Großstädten. Rückblickend bis Januar 2008 ist dies der höchste Anteil der Großstädte an den in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland registrierten Langzeitarbeitslosen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
