Daten und Fakten zur Bevölkerungsentwicklung 2020 im Land Bremen

Zum Ende des Jahres 2020 lebten im Land Bremen 680.130 Menschen. Damit lag die Bevölkerungszahl um 1.072 Personen beziehungsweise 0,2 Prozent niedriger als zu Jahresbeginn.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
