Zukunftsfähige Berufsprofile in Hotellerie und Gastronomie

In der neuen Buchpublikation »FutureHotel Employee Profiles« haben Wissenschaftler*innen des Forschungsprojekts »FutureHotel« 26 Berufsprofile aus sechs Berufsbereichen des Gastgewerbes in Bezug auf aktuelle und zukünftige Veränderungen analysiert.

Der eine kriegt einen klugen Kopf, der andere ein schwaches Herz. Der eine ist sein Leben lang gesund, der andere wird mit einer schweren Behinderung geboren. Die Natur ist ein Gerechtigkeitsrisiko. …

Das Schicksal teilt ungerecht aus; und es gleicht die Ungerechtigkeiten nicht immer aus. Hier hat der Sozialstaat seine Aufgabe. Er sorgt dafür, dass der Mensch reale, nicht nur formale Chancen hat. …

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
