Die Leute haben Angst

Schwarz-Rot plant Einschnitte beim Bürgergeld. Das gibt billigen Applaus. Betroffenen erschweren sie das Leben, und viel gespart wird nicht.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
